A new 40,000 square foot $12-million Pacific Northwest Salmon Center (www.pnwsalmoncenter.org) is slated to open in Belfair in 2005 and will serve as a research and education facility, as well as a destination for visitors. Local fire districts play important roles in ensuring that residents and visitors receive excellent emergency medical services and fire protection. The North Mason Timberland Library serves the entire area and is a cornerstone of the community of Belfair.
A widespread network of service clubs are well-attended by local citizens who work together to improve and share the quality of life available to our residents. Local churches offer fellowship and belonging.
